Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for providing expert-level technical design and support to the sales team in consulting, technical guidance, generating system specifications, conducting system presentations and supporting in designing and engineering considerations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the sales team during quotation and tender preparation, from verification of tender and design specifications, bill of quantity detailing, detailed system designing and solutioning, and other submission requirements.

  • The scope of the work includes liaising and coordinating with specialist vendors for system design verification, demos, and ‘proof of concept’ system testing, as well as system integration and interfacing possibilities.

  • Evaluation of products and systems, as well as introduction/recommendation to the sales and project team, is part of his responsibility.

  • Work with the Application team in terms of standardization of design and applications, for ease of project implementation; support the Application team when required.

  • Expected to be conversant with the Application Centre set-up and equipment, and to conduct demos independently for visitors

  • Must multi-task effectively, to support sales and project sales in engineering design detailing and verification.

  • Support security and communications-related project implementation, particularly in detailed design.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. With a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or its equivalent, and at least 3 years’ related experience in a similar industry.

  2. Expected to be conversant in both security and communication systems, as well as network designs, and have a good understanding of IT, cybersecurity, and audio engineering know-how.

  3. Self-driven and able to work with minimal instructions

  4. Organized, systematic, and structured personnel preferred.

  5. Energetic and high level of work commitment with a positive mindset.

  6. Demonstrates abilities to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

  7. Ability to multitask effectively, supporting various roles and functions.
