Key Responsibilities

• Execute Accounting and Controlling related tasks, with a focus on Retail Accounting, Lease Accounting and Fixed Assets .

Responsibilities:

• Check daily journal entries, e.g. cash flows, bank account adjustments and general ledger entries;

• Support with the overall Tapestry US GAAP monthly closing processes in the S4 SAP systems
• Assist with generating the Tapestry closing related deliverables and reports
• Support in performing inter-company charge backs, matching and reconciling inter-company balances and settling down inter-company balances in cash on a gross or net basis
• Preparation of the balance reconciliations files in the Blackline systems
• Support with processing journal entries (SG&A accruals & etc.) as part of the month-end closing activities
• Assist in staying compliance with the internal Tapestry SOX controls and requirements
• Provision of the local statutory audit support under the respective local GAAPs in SEA
• Assist with completing indirect and direct tax return filings and payments in SEA

Job Purpose
The role is to perform review and analysis of financial data of the Operating Units and Group for management reporting and providing support to line managers within the department and participate in a key Finance Transformation initiative as a model builder.
Overview of Job Scope and Responsibilities
Review and analysis of management accounts for monthly, forecast and budget reporting.
Ensure timely provision of accurate financial data of the Group and preparation of Group management reports.
Region level coordination and liaison on financial planning and analysis matters.

We are seeking an Accounting & Payroll Analyst on a part-time basis to join a growing Partner Practice within St. James’s Place Singapore. The role is a key appointment to support the business in achieving its immediate and long-term business plan objectives. The Accounting & Payroll Analyst has overall responsibility for accounting & financial operations within the business, including aspects of the payroll function for Advisers. The role primarily involves task management, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & HR Administration

• Implement aspects of payroll function for the Practice, including monthly commission payments to Financial Advisers.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare consolidated accounts and monthly financial reports for the Practice, and SJP senior management as needed.
