Job Description & Requirements

• Responsible for product quality and final acceptance testing in box-build assembly
• Conduct conformance testing and outgoing buy-off on product per customer requirements
• Compile, analyze and generate buy-off report
• Liaise with customers/ production/ suppliers to resolve non-conformance matters and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken appropriately
• Participate in internal and external quality/ process audits
• Monitor and update quality metrics dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis
• Support QC function and improvement activities
• Support new product transfer, technical training and guidance to QA team in Batam
• Participate in QMS & supplier audits
• Degree / Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of ISO standards, QA techniques, procedure and methodologies
• Able to work independently, confidently and result oriented
• Good communication and technical report writing skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 & other regulatory requirements will be advantageous

Job Description:

- Inspect outgoing parts and incoming sub-contracted parts based on the inspection procedures and specifications. Perform Incoming Process Inspections.

- Keep quality records and organize quality data.

- Report any quality problems to the QA Manager and Factory Manager/Production Manager/Assistant Production Manager for action.

- Make sure non-conforming products are not mixed with good products before they are addressed.

- Approve the rejection of parts that do not meet quality standards.

- Approve the release of good parts for storage and delivery to customers.

- Perform routine tests and checks on switchboards completed in the workshop.

- Test and commission switchboards on vessels or on-site to meet customer needs. Handle warranty claims and quality complaints.

- Conduct official tests on switchboards that need to be witnessed by surveyors or consultants, and possibly customers.

- Help the Manager with quality responsibilities and meeting quality goals.

- Keep the QA Department clean and organized.

- Follow safety rules when doing any task.

- Make sure calibrated instruments are used for inspection.

- Take action to prevent product issues.

- Find, recommend, or provide solutions to problems.

- Check if solutions are working and being applied.

- Control the processing and delivery of non-conforming products until issues are fixed.

- Do other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

- Follow the Quality Management System procedures for effective control and implementation.

Job Requirements:

- A Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering (strictly electrical).

- Prefer 2 years of QA experience in the marine or industrial field.

- Experience in testing switchboards/panels is an advantage.

- Willing to work onboard the vessel, and travel occasionally. Oversea travel allowance will be given.

• Perform first article evaluation (FAE/FAI) and on new parts/products that are newly manufactured.
• Conduct shipping judgement meeting for first-time manufactured and shipped-out products.
• Handle quality claims from customers through corrective action request (CAR/NCR): evaluate, verify and disseminate information to respective departments.
• Manage claims to ensure root causes are analyzed and effective corrective/preventive action are being taken.
• Ensure prompt follow-up and replies on claims.
• Revise department's work standard according to job-flow changes.
• Conducts process audits according to schedule.
• Assist production lines on solving quality matters; discuss and feedback on any improvement.
• Provide engineering support and advice to other members.
• Coordinate monthly quality meeting.
• Supervise subordinate.
• Adhoc job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• Prefer 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Entry level applicants with the correct aptitude will also be considered.

Requirements:

• Degree in any Engineering discipline (Quality Engineering preferred) in a manufacturing environment

Job Description Summary
Plan, co-ordinate and oversee all QA support activities and initiatives in the work cell. To improve process capabilities and product quality to meet the desired targets.
Job Description
Oversee the product quality from assembly to packaging process and ensure full compliance to the Quality System and regulation requirements.
Champion data-driven decisions to resolve non-conformances, complaint investigation, CAPA, deviation and other quality matters in a timely manner.
Interfaces with R&D, unit quality, customer quality engineer to formulate plans and actions to meet product specifications and quality requirements
Drive quality improvement/automation projects through project planning, scheduling inspection/testing activities, performing analysis and publishing reports.
Perform test method validation, installation qualification, correlation study for new quality equipment/test method.
Act as a support role for regulatory, external, internal and/or supplier audits and lead the value stream members to execute the corrective actions for compliance with customer specifications.
Perform data analysis and trending for product quality performance through monthly and quarterly management review meeting.
Establish and maintain effective system and procedures to ensure that all manufacturing and engineering documentation are controlled and updated per established regulatory requirements.
Supervise quality technical specialist and a group of technicians on quality tests and checks.

Preferred Requirements
3 years relevant working experiences in a quality engineer role will be advantageous.
Demonstrated good understanding of key elements of Quality Management System, CFR Part 820, ISO 13485.
Preferably possess Six Sigma Green-Belt certification or knowledge on six sigma tools.
Able to effectively multi-task and work independently with a high level of initiative
