Key Responsibilities1. Operational Leadership & Excellence
- Manage end-to-end chartering and vessel operations, ensuring optimal deployment across vessel classes (Handysize to Capesize).
- Coordinate closely with ports, agents, surveyors, customs, and stevedores to streamline cargo handling, loading/discharge, inspections, and vessel readiness.
- Define and monitor KPIs/SLA metrics for vessel utilization, on-time performance, safety, claims, and client satisfaction.
- Lead development efforts for new trade lanes and cargo types across Southeast Asia, India, Persian Gulf, Europe, and West Coast South America.
- Negotiate long-term agreements with charterers, cargo owners, ports, and agents.
