• Assist staff nurses in delivering nursing care to patients.

• Support patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs; report changes to nursing staff.
• Observe and document patients' physical and emotional conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and assist with meal service.
• Escort patients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Keep accurate records of care and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of Nitec in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, or an equivalent certification
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensuring proper storage of client's medications
• Reminds clients on taking medications
• Ensure accurate documentation of medication records
• Reports to Nurse-in-charge on clients or caregiver who require medications, medical appointments and related advise
• Take care of clients and monitor their progression
• Escorting the clients if require
• Perform CPR, AED and first aid to clients and plays an active role in emergency situations.

• Degree in Nursing / Bachelor of Science (Nursing) / WSQ Cert in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) / ITE Skills Certificate in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years' Nursing experience
• Enrolled with SNB registered
• Passion in healthcare or patient care
• Foreigner with relevant license (PRC from Philippines, etc.)

• Able to work well in a team environment, caring and have a passion to serve elderly.
• Knowledge of Mandarin/ Malay/ Tamil/ Dialects to interact and communicate with different races of elderly is an advantage

Responsibilities:

Responsible in providing healthcare and patient care to ensure quality healthcare service standards are met by MDAS Care Services. The Care Services comprise of Home-Based Care and Centre-Based Care.

1. Provide personal and hygiene care in activities of daily living

2. Handle lifting and transferring of care-recipients

3. Logistic setup of activity rooms and equipment; ensure a clean & safety environment surroundings

4. Monitor vital signs; assist in toileting, feeding and food preparation

Technical Competencies:

Job Responsibilities
To provide personal and social care to residents according to their needs in accordance to ADH Philosophy of Care.
To support and encourage the wellbeing of residents, and identify any changes that may be required in the care and support provided. To record and report these changes to the clinical team.

Change the residents who are incontinent.

To ensure that each resident is empowered to be at the forefront of decision making that affects their daily life within the environment, and encourage them to maintain engagement with relatives, friends and the local community
Administer prescribed medication in accordance with ADH procedures.
Assist residents with their prescribed oral medications (under instructions from the Nurse in-charge)
Assist residents with all activities of daily life (eg. personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, transfers, toileting)
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of living environment of residents
Implement infection prevention and control activities
Accompanying residents to hospitals and polyclinics.
Engage resident in day to day activity as per Home schedule
Attends to emergencies as and when the need arises
Simple application of ointment/cream and simple dressing for residents.
Support with the induction and training of new staff
Attend and contribute of briefings and meetings
Attend all mandatory training sessions/courses necessary to perform these duties and CPD as required to maintain knowledge and best practice.
