Job Description
- As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and managing surface wellhead systems that are critical to the safe and efficient operation. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and field engineers, to ensure the integrity and performance of surface wellhead equipment. Your role may involve office-based engineering design, engineering validation lab testing and field-based installation operation cum troubleshooting, providing a dynamic and varied work environment.
- Provide regional engineering support as instructed by Engineering Manager.
- Perform engineering design and development work to meet customers' and/or the industry's requirement.
- Checking and approving equipment drawings, information and documentation which meets Customer Specification, and company engineering standards to enable the validation test, manufacture and production.
- Perform engineering design calculations and design analysis.
- Execute or participate in equipment validation test (for example, Stack-up Test, Performance rating test, Annex F Validation test, etc.)
- Conduct Value Engineering exercise and product cost saving during engineering design task.
- Review and dispose Non-Conformance (NCR) during new equipment production and Aftermarket (RGR) Repair and Return equipment.
- Facilitate and/or conduct Root Cause Analysis session for field issues and operation challenges, then conduct lesson learnt and training for future improvement.
- Provide engineering support to field operation team during equipment installation and when field issues (FPR) arise.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Energy Industry, familiar with API Industrial Standards
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (Inventor, Solidworks, etc), 2D CAD software (AutoCAD)

Job Description:
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and utilities.
- Develop and review mechanical designs, layouts, and specifications for waste treatment systems; pumps, compressors, piping, boiler
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure integrated plant operations
- Monitor performance of rotating equipment, pressure vessels, conveyors and treatment systems.
