We put people first, by creating thoughtfully designed products and services, starting with mindful apparel and tactile comfort pieces, our mission is to create everyday items and experiences that empower people to reconnect, heal, and thrive. We're values-driven, community-led, and committed to thoughtful design, sustainable practices (where possible), and warm storytelling that centers lived experience over hype. Through warm storytelling and community-led initiatives, we strive to empower and uplift everyone we touch — helping people reconnect, heal, and flourish in everyday life.
Role Description:
We're hiring a hands-on management consultant associate to help move us from ideation to testing, to a validated MVP. It will be a flexible, remote and a non-paid internship. If you want to learn more about startups, business development and how to strategise the growth of startup, you will fit our hiring agenda. You'll partner closely with the founder to translate our wellness vision into a concrete go-to-market plan, early product economics, and operational systems that let us test ideas quickly and responsibly. This is a strategic and executional role — you'll advise, plan, and roll up your sleeves to get the first tests launched. The Management Consultant Intern will be responsible for researching industry trends, analyzing data, developing strategies, and preparing reports. The intern will collaborate with the founder and a marketing intern to ensure the successful implementation of our planned wellness initiatives. Additional duties include providing support in project management and client communications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead market validation: design and run lean experiments (landing pages, preorders, micro-ads, pop-ups) to test demand and price sensitivity.
- Build initial financial model and unit economics: costings, pricing strategy, breakeven analysis, and scenario planning.
- Go-to-market strategy: define channels, launch plan, content pillars, and a simple 90-day roadmap for customer acquisition.
- Supplier & production planning: source/qualify small-batch manufacturers or print-on-demand partners; advise on MOQ, lead times, and QC.
- Partnerships & community: identify and pitch potential wellness partners (fitness studios, NGOs, micro-influencers) for collabs and pop-ups.
- Operations setup: recommend simple order fulfillment, returns, and customer service workflows suitable for an early DTC brand.
- Fundraising & Raising Capital: help draft a one-pager, pitch deck highlights, and investor ask (if pursuing preseed).
- KPI tracking & reporting: set 6–8 key metrics to measure progress, and deliver weekly/biweekly updates with actionable next steps.
- Mentor/coaching: advise founder on prioritization, hiring needs, and early team structure.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience in developing strategies and preparing reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management and client communication experience
- A passion for wellness and community-driven initiatives
- Cross-cultural and effective communication skills
Additional but not mandatory qualifications (would be a plus):
- 1+ years of startup consulting, growth, operations, or early-stage product experience (with DTC / apparel or consumer brands preferred).
- Experience running lean validation experiments (landing pages, preorders, paid social tests, pop-ups).
- Strong financial literacy — building and explaining simple unit economics and pricing.
- Practical supplier/production knowledge (small-batch, POD, or apparel manufacturing fundamentals).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable creating investor-ready one-pagers and clear SOPs.
- Bias for action: able to move quickly, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver tangible outputs.
- Background/Interest in wellness, mental health, or community-facing brands.
