Reporting to Senior Laboratory Supervisor, this position will perform laboratory testing and ad-hoc analyses of production samples of Alpha-Olefin Copolymers, namely TAFMER & EPR products, for the chemical plant.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily shipment and non-routine analysis of in-process and finished products in accordance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and safe work procedures
- Perform basic calibration for laboratory equipment to ensure that they are maintained in good working condition
- Carry out documentation control for test results and ensure proper documentation of laboratory work and quality control records in accordance to the SOP
- Prepare density columns for grade transition for in-process and classification testing
- Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained in the Laboratory
- Provide support for Laboratory-related assignments as and when assigned by immediate superior
