Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a couple of candidates as a Buyer / Senior Buyer responsible for the execution of Procurement and Purchasing Activities within the global manufacturing operations for several commodities including Materials, and Capital Equipments.
Responsibilities include:
- Execution of Procurement and Purchasing Activities such as Commodity Management strategies, Purchase Order (PO), Purchase Requisition (PR) and Request for Quotation (RFQ)
- Act as the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment to the company's growth and supply requirements following the BOM requirements and the R&D/Engineering technical drawings for machinery/equipment etc
- Ensure that the goods or services procured are in alignment with the Purchase Requisition (PR).
- Prepare and provide reports and present to internal stakeholders
- Ensure efficient work partnership with Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, Quality, Legal and Factory Assembly teams etc. to mitigate supply assurance or delivery issues.
Candidate Profile
- Minimally Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies
- Approximately 3 to 8 years of experience in Buyer / Purchaser / Procurement Executive positions, preferably with good exposure to High Tech / Manufacturing operations
- Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, communication & negotiation skills
- Excellent proficiency in SAP ERP systems and MS Office suite will be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote the World Wide Technology Core Values and Corporate Goals
- Daily processing of requisitions and purchase order placement
- Manage coordination of shipment of drop ship and cross dock orders
- Participate in customer reviews, drafting, and presenting data-based key performances indicators (KPIs)
