JOB SUMMARY

Patrol the hotel as part of an overall security function, checking all areas while continuously maintaining a discreet and diplomatic presence that ensures the protection of guests, associates and hotel assets. Control and monitor access to Back Of The House areas and associates’ entrance. Input data, monitor and operate the CCTV and alarm system, if required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Patrol all areas of the hotel noting, recording and informing the management of all potential problems or hazards.
• Circulate amongst guests and patrons monitoring all matters pertaining to federal or state legislations as well as Marriott’s standard and local operating procedures, recording any violations.
• Keep the MOD, Assistant Director and Director of Loss Prevention informed of all incidents occurring within the hotel via properly structured written reports.
• Ensure that when required, undesirables are tactfully and effectively handled without interruptions to hotel operations or concerns to guests. They are to be approached and questioned in a non-aggressive manner. If in the event that additional assistance is needed, backup is to be called. Only to be used as a last resort and after consultation with the Director of Loss Prevention or in his absence, the Manager on Duty or a member of the Executive Committee, are to notify police to control or rectify the situation.
• To monitor and control access to Back Of The House areas by screening all visitors and associates when required.
• To issue or retrieve hotel keys / swipe cards and record their movements on a timely basis.
• Exercise the department’s system in an effective manner to log factual and concise reports including:

- Security incident report.

- Associates accident report.

- Guest incident report.

- Undesirables report.

- Visitor log.

- Associates casual locker log.

- Key issue / retrieval log.

- Maintenance work orders.

- Public areas cleaning requests.

• Participate as a member of the Hotel Emergency Respond Team in a manner and responsibility, specified in the Emergency Respond Procedures.
• To attend training in First Aid, Emergency and Fire Safety Procedures in order to effectively perform the various tasks and duties.
• Comply with all security procedures in conjunction with the local operating procedures, noting and reporting those who are in violation.
• Liaise with other departments in ways and actions that ensure an awareness of each departmental functions building on mutual understanding and respect, which would result in continual and effective security awareness.
• Immediately report all defects identified, maintenance work order.
• When appropriate, during heavy guest activities assist associates with their duties except duties of a specialized nature.
• Perform any reasonable request made by any manager or supervisor if not life threatening or illegal in nature.
• Ensure that health and safety requirements in the workplace are observed, enforced and maintained.
• Be conversant with the operating hours of the hotel, its outlets and facilities available for guest enjoyment and use appropriate opportunities to “sell” the hotel to prospective guests.
• To ensure and follow established procedures and compliance as per LSOP guidelines.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

The Data Loss Prevention Triage team performs many functions of data security at the firm. They review prioritized alerts generated from monitoring systems, conduct investigations and work with teams to ensure appropriate outcome, assist in technology and process improvements, collaborate with the content development team to refine detection and prioritization capabilities, analyze trends and patterns in DLP activity, and work with stakeholders to mitigate data loss risks and cyber insider threats across all lines of business.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily real-time monitoring and analysis of internal security events adhering to standard operating procedures to ensure timely detection and response.
• Review network and endpoint DLP events to assess risk and impact, delivering findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Conduct thorough security investigations, analyzing logs, network traffic, and other data sources to identify root causes, assess impact, and gather evidence for response and mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement coordinated security strategies, policies, and procedures, while educating employees on best practices.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a related field, with a focus on DLP and insider threat detection.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or related disciplines
• Demonstrate experience in network traffic analysis, PCAP analysis and log analysis to identify anomalous behavior associated with insider threats and respond to security incidents.
• Strong Investigative mindset with the ability to follow data and build cases, supported by foundational knowledge of cybersecurity practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering, threats, and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Splunk or similar for log analysis, developing queries, correlations, dashboards and automation.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to interrogate large data sets and interpret various security, application and system logs.
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing Agile teams and individuals throughout the firm to achieve goals.
  
  

• Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), including experience developing risk-aligned DLP monitoring rules, familiarity with DLP systems and products, or experience on a security assurance operations team performing DLP triage operational functions.
• Foundational knowledge of computer forensics, legal, government, and jurisprudence as they relate to cybersecurity; operating systems; and methods for intelligence gathering and sharing.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, computer network defense, external organizations and academic institutions dealing with cybersecurity issues, financial authorities and regulations, identity management, incident management, information assurance, information management, information systems, network security, and infrastructure design.
• Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures, and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence.
• Knowledge and experience related to Insider Threat monitoring and operations.
• Proficiency in scripting to automate tasks, implement controls, and manipulate data.

• Monitor developing cybersecurity events around the world, and escalate to L2 team if relevant events are observed

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or other computer-related field of study.
• 3+ years working in security operations, preferably with incident management experience

• Familiar with security products and network devices
• Extensive technical experience with network security practices including Intranet, Extranet and Internet access
• Technical experience with UNIX, AIX, Linux, Windows
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, web, wireless security architectures and enterprise-grade security solutions
• Knowledge of encryption and authentication methods such as 2FA, DES/AES/RSA, Digital Certificates, SSL/TLS, IPSec and development of DMZ’s
• Knowledge of intrusion detection (deep TCP/IP knowledge, and cybersecurity), various operating systems (Windows/UNIX), and web technologies (especially internet security)

Privileged Access Management Support Engineer

The suitable candidate will join a team of engineers and operations specialists in the support of DBS’ enterprise privileged access management infrastructure and operations. The candidate will be responsible for the end to end design, deployment, operations and development of the bank’s privileged access management framework, infrastructure and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the automation and integration of privileged access management infrastructure to other systems to achieve straight through processing and reduce manual work.

Requirements

• 5+ Years of CyberArk Experience : Demonstrated expertise in the deployment, configuration, management, and support of CyberArk infrastructure components.
