This role will report into the Head of Information Security Architecture and Risk Assessment. Security Architect is expected to drive security guardrails, design patterns, reference architecture and solutioning partnerships with division architects, solution designers and app teams.

Singtel has diverse technology ecosystems and lead security architect needs to be able to cope with varying complexities in terms of business requirements, system, network and application architecture. Additionally, while there are differing business and technical considerations, Architect needs to able to align the stakeholders from Singtel IT and Enterprise to adopt common Zero Trust technology components.

While there are differing business and technical considerations, Specialist needs to able to influence the stakeholders to adopt IAM best practice and align to Zero Trust framework. Specialist to keep abreast of the information security trends and advise Singtel SG BU to uplift security culture.

  • Drive execution of Cyber Zero Trust initiatives in Identity, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and Network Domains.
  • Perform Threat Modelling.

As a Security Architect for Cybersecurity GTM in Singapore, supporting the Singapore Cybersecurity services, Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific solutions and NTT overall technologies offerings, this role will be reporting directly to the Cybersecurity Head / Pre-sales leader. Your involvement in our pursuits and opportunities will start with the initial customer meeting and continue through the design/value realization phases of the security solution architecture and working with the respective sales specialist to bring deals to closure. You must be a self-starter, require minimal supervision, and possess strong technical and design skills for enterprise environments. This position requires excellent communications skills (written and verbal), as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
This role would be having following key responsibilities:
+ Acting as our solution Subject Matter Expert (SME), with deep and broad knowledge of our technology solution stack, including an understanding of the threat landscape, architectural models, and solutions, as well as the ability to discuss and present these effectively to senior client stakeholders and technical team members
+ Leading quarterly reviews and account planning sessions for assigned solution vendor
+ Taking customer's technical, financial, and business requirements into consideration in order to recommend optimal security solution and also deliver presentation, proposals, included with bill of material as result
+ Performing security solution workshops, solution demonstrations and Proof-of-Value engagements using our OEM partner products and our services
+ Developing and/or enhancing security reference architecture for clients in key verticals such as BFSI, Public Sector, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail etc.
+ Staying current with international security standards, best practices and in-country security regulations
+ Working knowledge of security risk and control frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SABSA etc.
+ Work closely with internal teams to increase the adoption of our cybersecurity solutions to customers through marketing campaigns, customer meetings, community building, and actively involved in executing Go-To-Market strategy for cybersecurity in-country
+ Support security consulting pre-sales work (e.g. writing SoWs, proposals etc.)
+ Support RFPs and large bids as a security SME working jointly with multi-BU stakeholders
+ Be flexible to acquire new skills and show willingness in learning/re-learning and un-learning things as needed for the success of this role and the overall cybersecurity practice
+ Demonstrate strong skills in analysing customer business processes and technical environments
+ Acting as a Trusted Advisor to our clients on Cybersecurity domain
+ Actively participate in knowledge sharing with all team members
**Experience, Skills and Qualifications:**
As the Security Consultant your skills and qualifications will include:
+ Possess at least 7-10 years of working experience related to cybersecurity pre-sales and architect roles
+ Hands on experience with security solutions including certifications from Tier-1 Security OEMs
+ Security architect experience supporting at least 3 of the key practice domains such as Network Security & SASE, Cloud Security, App & Data Security, Workplace Security, OT/ICS Security and Security Operations
+ Required degree level education, or significant experience and track record with tertiary qualifications on relevant domains, including computer science, computer engineering and information security
+ Being certified in CISSP, GIAC, Security+, CCSE, CCSK, CRISC will be an added advantage
+ Ability to work in a matrix organisation
+ Ability to work with diverse and dynamic teams

We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Senior Industry Architect - AI Security to spearhead our strategic engagements with key JAPAC customers and influence the industry's approach to securing Generative AI. This is a senior technical leadership role where you will act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives (CTOs, CIOs, CISOs) at our largest customers, guiding them through the complex design considerations of securing their most ambitious Generative AI initiatives. You will be pivotal in defining and evangelizing secure AI adoption patterns, not just through our products, but by architecting novel use cases, impactful demonstrations, and tangible security outcomes tailored to specific industry needs.
**Your Impact**
**As a Senior Industry Architect - AI Security** , you will be instrumental in establishing Palo Alto Networks as the leading strategic partner for securing enterprise-scale Generative AI. Your contributions will extend beyond individual customer engagements to shape industry best practices and regulatory understanding.
+ Strategic C-Suite Advisory: Serve as the lead technical advisor to customer CTOs, CIOs, and CISOs, providing expert guidance on strategic design principles, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks for securing complex Generative AI deployments
+ Innovation in AI Security Use Cases & Demonstrations: Conceptualize, design, and build compelling, unique use cases and demonstrations that showcase advanced AI security outcomes and address emerging threats in Generative AI. This includes going beyond standard product features to illustrate holistic security solutions
+ Development of Industry-Specific Reference Architectures: Lead the creation and curation of a comprehensive library of industry-specific AI security reference architectures. These will serve as blueprints for customers in sectors such as finance, healthcare, public sector, and manufacturing, detailing best practices for securing their unique GenAI applications and data
+ Thought Leadership and Policy Engagement: Act as an authoritative voice for Palo Alto Networks on Generative AI security. Engage with regulators, industry consortiums, and policymakers to provide expert insights, contribute to the development of security standards, and advocate for responsible AI security practices
+ Cross-Functional Strategy and Enablement: Collaborate with executive leadership, product management, engineering, and threat research teams to inform Palo Alto Networks' AI security strategy, identify new market opportunities, and develop differentiated solutions based on industry needs and future threat landscapes
+ Evangelism and Ecosystem Development: Present at top-tier industry conferences, executive briefings, and publish thought leadership content to elevate Palo Alto Networks' standing in AI security and foster an ecosystem of secure AI adoption
+ Mentorship and Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other architects and technical professionals within the organization, fostering a culture of excellence in AI security
**Your Experience**
+ 12+ years of distinguished experience in technical leadership roles within cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, or technology strategy, with a significant focus (5+ years) on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and specifically Generative AI
+ Proven experience advising C-suite executives (CTO, CIO, CISO) at large enterprises on complex technology strategy, architecture, and risk management, particularly related to emerging technologies like Generative AI
+ Demonstrable track record of conceptualizing, designing, and delivering innovative technical solutions, unique use cases, or impactful demonstrations that solve complex business problems, preferably in the AI/ML security space
+ Experience in developing and evangelizing industry-specific reference architectures, security frameworks, or best practice guidelines
+ Deep understanding of the Generative AI lifecycle, including data pipelines, foundation models, fine-tuning, RAG models, prompt engineering, vector databases, and their associated security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
+ Authoritative knowledge of the current AI security threat landscape, relevant regulatory environments (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF), and data privacy considerations across key industries, preferably with experience in JAPAC or other major economic regions
+ Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both highly technical audiences and senior executives, as well as policymakers
+ Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services and security implications
+ Experience engaging with or contributing to industry standards bodies, regulatory discussions, or public policy forums related to technology or cybersecurity is highly desirable.
+ A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, anticipate future trends, and drive impactful outcomes in a dynamic and rapidly evolving field.
+ Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience or equivalent military experience required
