We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal advice and guidance on all aspects of Singapore law.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all aspects of Singapore law and various applicable laws, regulations, and Company rules.
- Advise the Group's business departments, Managing Directors of Affiliates, traders, in drafting legal opinions, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Lead the legal assistance on business development activities (establishment of new JVs, divestments, acquisitions of shares of assets).
Requirements:
- Degree in law (LLB) in university and called to the Singapore bar.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience' in either a law firm or as a legal counsel, preferably with experience in trading & distribution, property development, construction related.
- Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, knowledge of and litigation.
- Able to travel to Malaysia for M&A jobs.
