Main duties and responsibilities
">- Manage a team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope
- Develop research proposals, budgets, and timelines for new projects
- Participate in strategic-planning activities, such as identifying new research opportunities and assessing potential clinical translation of research
- Review scientific publications to keep up to date with the current knowledge in relevant fields
- Lead research conduct and develop new methodologies in order to advance knowledge within the group and in the group's area of interest
- Communicate scientific findings, such as through published research papers or presentations at scientific conferences
- Foster collaborations with other academic institutions and industry partners
Requirements
">- PhD in a relevant discipline such as Microbiology, Biomedical/Life Sciences, Infectious Diseases, Epidemiology, Public Health etc.
- At least 3 to 5 years of post-doctoral experience working in a research / clinical / public health laboratory
- Prior experience in publication of research findings would be an advantage
