About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Science Laboratory Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our science department, ensuring that all laboratory activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare apparatus and materials for experiments
- Climb staircases to access laboratories located from level 2 to level 4
- Support the operation, housekeeping and maintenance of the school's science laboratory and science room
- Set up materials and equipment for experiments
- Provide support and assist teachers in lesson preparation
- Assist in procurement of science equipment, instrument and materials
- Monitoring schedule for teachers using science laboratories
- Assist in the school's research projects
- Perform data entry and updating the storage inventory systems
- Liaise with vendors or contractors for maintaining lab equipment and facilities
- Invigilate science practical assessments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant expertise and work experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Completed at least Secondary education and speak English
