Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily practical and exam preparations by ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.
- Dispense chemicals and lay out apparatus (glassware, chemicals, safety goggles, etc.) as required.
- Collect and clear away equipment and chemicals, and other teaching materials after each practical, adhering to safe disposal procedures and washing glass apparatus.
- Before the start of each term during term break, conduct general replenishment of bench reagents.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Science Lab Technician.
Requirements:
- Hold at least primary level qualifications, with the ability to read and write effectively.
- Possess basic knowledge of lab settings and chemical preparation, which would be an advantage.
- Relevant past experience working in a science lab environment would be advantageous.
