Job Description
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Sports Coaches to train and mentor students in local schools under the Ministry of Education's Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programmes. The coach will be responsible for planning and conducting structured training sessions, developing students' technical and tactical skills, and preparing them for competitions while fostering discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly CCA training sessions in line with school and MOE requirements.
- Develop training plans and practice drills tailored to the sport.
- Mentor and motivate students to achieve their potential in both training and competitions.
- Prepare and guide students for inter-school tournaments, friendly matches, and events.
- Ensure safety and discipline throughout all sessions.
- Work closely with the teacher-in-charge to monitor attendance, progress, and outcomes.
- Proven coaching experience in the relevant sport (school, club, or competitive level).
- Certification such as NCAP, SG-Coach, or equivalent preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and motivational skills, particularly with youth.
- First Aid / CPR certification is an advantage.
- Ability to commit to weekly training schedules during school terms.
