Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 with an option to extend the Contract for a further period of 1 year
Working hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7am to 4pm, inclusive of 1/2hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 1/2hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
- Maintaining the general cleanliness and safety of equipment and the workplace
- Providing logistical support for Food, Consumer Education lessons, school events and activities, including transporting and arranging furniture and equipment
- Simple administrative and office work
- To assist Operations Managers in carrying out operational tasks in school such as maintaining cleanliness and provide logistical support for events particularly during school holidays.
- Assisting with the preparation of ingredients, equipment, apparatus and substances for food laboratory lessons, examinations and enrichment programmes
- Reviewing goods from supplier and checking that goods delivered are in accordance with delivery order.
- Any other assigned duties
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
- Preferable to have GCE 'N' level
- Preferable to have Level 1 Basic Food Hygiene Cert.
- Preferable to have 1 year of experience in a kitchen, food laboratory, food services, catering environment or working in a school environment.

- Cook and prepare food for customers' as per the standard recipes
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
- Ensure appealing plate presentation

- Ensure general cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and storage are in accordance to NEA and SFA guidelines
