School Operations Support A
- To work 42 hours (excluding lunch break) per calendar week.
- Depending on School's opening hours required for the week, the 42 hours per calendar week will be scheduled either over 5 days (i.e. Monday to Friday) or 6 days (i.e. Monday to Saturday).
- The work schedule (inclusive of 30mins lunch break for the hours) for working either 5 or 6 days per calendar week, totaling 42 hours
General Security and Safety:
- Gate duty and traffic management
- Checking and ensuring that user(s) of school facilities duly exit School by the expiry of the scheduled booking slot
- Checking and ensuring that the doors of all rooms, school gates and all-electrical appliances are turned off or locked before leaving School at the end of duty hours.
- Disarm the School's security alarm system in the morning.
- Arming the School's security alarm system before leaving School at the end of duty hours.
- Cleaning duties to support School's general cleanliness, including:
- Cleaning of rooms as assigned by Operations Manager.
- Clearing the waste bins and disposal of rubbish from the assigned rooms.
- Logistics support for school programmes and events (e.g. assist security guard to maintain traffic control during big events, arrange tables for school examinations, etc).
- Will be required to work on weekends to support school operations when need arises.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Operations Manager

Estate & Facility Operations:
- Oversee the upkeep of school buildings as assigned by the Operations Manager
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all key systems (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing etc)
- Conduct regular inspections, initiate timely repairs and recommend improvement plans
- Ensure school infrastructure complies with local building code, safety regulations and MOE Guidelines
- Address feedback or facility issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure school is ready for the start of school day
School Operations:

Security Management:
- Oversee daily security operations and manage outsourced security personnel

Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate and oversee projects assigned by the Operations Manager
- Prepare specification documents, evaluation reports and other documentation for Invitations to Quote (ITQ) and Invitations to Tender (ITT)
- Supervise contractors and worksites to ensure safety, quality and compliance
- Ensure Quality assurance processes for project completion verification before payment processing
Event & Logistic Management:
- Plan and support logistics (Venue setup/ moving of tables and chairs/ parking) for school events
- Support logistics for school day to day operations
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management of Equivalent
- Candidates without the minimum qualifications but with at least 5 years of relevant prior experience may apply
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management (including managing outsourced security guards) preferably in a school environment
- Experience managing renovation, repair and improvement projects, preferably in a school environment
- Understanding of building systems, maintenance protocols and safety standards
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and vendors
- Team player and but able to work and lead projects independently
Work Arrangement
- Working Schedule - Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 4.00 pm (able to work on some weekends when there is school events - not often)
