We are seeking an experienced SAP eWM – Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Warehouse Management (WM/eWM) processes, preferably in high-tech industries. The consultant will be responsible for driving end-to-end functional design, leading requirements workshops, and collaborating with business users to optimize warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and design sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Configure and support SAP EWM/WM processes including Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, and Physical Inventory .

Requirements

  • 7+ years of SAP WM/eWM functional experience ; minimum 3 years in SAP eWM .
  • Strong expertise in SAP WM/eWM configurations and processes .
  • At least 2 full end-to-end SAP eWM lifecycle implementations .
  • Good cross-functional knowledge in MM, PP, QM .
  • 2+ years' experience as a Business Process Architect .
  • Hands-on experience in RF integration ; RFID exposure preferred.
  • Experience in writing functional specs for RICEFW developments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: SAP Consultant – Extended Warehouse Management and Materials Management

Job Description: The role is a client-facing consulting role and requires functional knowledge of the business processes in SAP EWM with MM.

This is both an SAP project delivery-focused role, managing complex SAP ERP implementation & configuration, as well as taking care of the tickets issue from several clients to support their queries. A consultant must be able to travel frequently locally for ABSG projects.

Pre-requisites:

  • Client-facing consulting role
  • Strong exposure to SAP EWM
  • Expertise in SAP functional modules like MM
  • Must be open to support SAP support maintenance, enhancement, change request and etc

Responsibilities:

  • You will be involved and hands-on in full project lifecycle experience including design, data, functional specs, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support experience
  • Assess and recommend solutions according to the scope and to resolve open design issues
  • Configuration of SAP EWM/MM to support scope, document configuration rationale
  • Develop Functional Specs for all relevant developments to support SAP EWM/MM processes integrate with other modules
  • Develop / Update relevant Master Data Standards especially master data to support SAP EWM/MM processes integrate with other modules
  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Design metrics and reports to support operational and management reporting for SAP EWM/MM; write reporting functional specs
  • Prepare integration test scripts (optional)
  • Complete unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing

Requirements:

  • Must have overall 6 years' hands-on experience in SAP EWM/MM implementation in cloud-based environment experience.
  • Involved in at least 2-3 end to end cycle of SAP EWM/MM project implementation in the consulting environment
  • Design, develop, test, debug and implement programs on SAP S4 HANA.
  • Develop solutions for all business processes in SAP systems.
  • With experience in supporting other IT areas as assigned including non-SAP business systems
  • Preferably to have S4 HANA experience
  • Articulate with the ability to communicate effectively in all levels
  • Able to start in a short notice period.
  • Consulting background is preferable
