In this role, you’ll partner with Finance and IT teams to translate business needs into actionable system solutions, apply Design Thinking to enhance user experience, and identify opportunities to improve processes. You’ll also support Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations and Change Requests (CR), ensuring solutions align with business goals, compliance standards, and RWS’s strategic direction.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Business Analysis & Design Thinking
Needs Elicitation: Conduct in-depth business need analysis by proactively engaging with diverse stakeholders to deeply understand their goals, challenges, current processes, and underlying pain points, always maintaining a Customer First perspective.
User-Centric Solutioning: Apply Design Thinking methodologies to thoroughly explore user needs, ideate innovative solutions, and prototype concepts, ensuring a human-centered approach to problem-solving and fostering Innovation.
Opportunity Identification: Identify strategic opportunities for business process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives that deliver significant Impact.
Facilitation: Expertly facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder interviews to uncover root business problems and collaboratively define potential solutions.
Requirements Engineering & Documentation
Requirements Translation: Translate high-level business needs into detailed, clear, concise, and testable business requirements (both functional and non-functional), user stories, and comprehensive use cases.
Documentation Management: Develop and maintain thorough documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, data models, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, taking Ownership of documentation quality.
Alignment & Feasibility: Ensure all requirements are meticulously aligned with organizational strategic objectives and technically feasible within the existing or planned architectural landscape.
Process Optimization & Problem Solving
Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas ripe for improvement. Design and recommend optimized future-state processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, driving Innovation and Impact.
Solution Engineering: Proactively identify and analyze complex business and technical problems, breaking them down into manageable components. Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and other IT professionals to engineer viable, sustainable, and scalable technical solutions that directly meet business requirements and strategic goals.
Solution Evaluation: Evaluate potential solutions for their overall impact, technical feasibility, and strict alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Development Support: Provide continuous support to the development team throughout the entire software development lifecycle, clarifying requirements and efficiently resolving any issues that arise.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving SAP-related issues. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules. Prepare documentation including functional specs, test scripts, and user manuals.
Stakeholder Engagement & Quality Assurance
Liaison & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear, consistent, and proactive communication across all project phases.
Expectation Management: Manage expectations of diverse stakeholders, including senior management, end-users, technical teams, and external vendors, fostering strong Collaboration.
Negotiation & Consensus: Effectively negotiate and mediate between potentially conflicting stakeholder needs to achieve consensus and maintain project momentum.
Testing Support: Support the creation of comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on defined requirements. Assist actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, rigorously ensuring that implemented solutions meet the specified business needs and deliver a positive Customer First experience.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
At least 8 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role in an IT environment.
Demonstrable experience with a variety of project methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum, Waterfall).
SAP Finance configuration experience with a strong understanding of system functionalities, business processes, and integration cross-modules/peripheral systems is a must.
Experience with Financial applications on Finance reconciliation or Payment Gateway would be an added advantage.

To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's or Master’s degree and 5 -15 years of related work experience at minimum;

At minimum 5 – 7 years of experience working with SAP Finance modules (FI, CO, CO-PC, COPA – S/4HANA experience preferred), as well as participation in multiple full life cycle SAP implementations required.
Experience with implementing and advanced knowledge of SAP Finance and including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets
Experience with implementing SAP Finance and integrations to SD, MM, PP, PM, etc. to support product cost controlling and margin analysis

Experience facilitating cross-functional team members with complex schedules against a published plan

Experience with all aspects of cost controlling and management accounting within an ERP system.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with Central Finance, with focus on central payments implementation
Experience with cost accounting, product costing/inventory valuation, margin analysis
Experience in finance strategy and finance operations, including A/R, A/P, capital management, asset management, financial accounting, and reporting systems a plus. As well as knowledge of budgeting, planning and forecasting operations and technology a plus.
