Job Summary
The CRM Sr Analyst serves as the business unit lead in the function, design, and architecture of current and future CRM tools (primarily salesforce.com). This position also serves as the “go-to” for users and is the primary lead in the full range of change management, training, adoption, user consultation, and front-line support efforts for all field sales reps, sales managers, and corporate sales leaders in the area of CRM/Sales Force Effectiveness, conducting day-to-day user administration as required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise on best practices in application configuration, workflow, customizations, and data validation.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Champion in driving industry and process best practices in the evolution of the company’s Salesforce.com instance and CRM/SFE platform(s). Provide recommendations and assist in the creation of the Strategic Roadmap.
- Stay abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements and keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements.
- Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, page layouts, queues, and other Salesforce.com setup options as needed for the Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams.
- Non-technical maintenance of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. Must maintain a high level of familiarity with other business application capabilities and scope definitions in order to make recommendations about potential integrations.
- Work with management and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
- Create and execute functional test scripts and risk/issue identification & mitigation approaches.
- Assist in the design and implementation of custom objects and advanced functionality.
- Perform mass uploads and updates of data as required: removing unnecessary fields and data; ensuring screens, fields, and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow.
- Deliver instructor-led in-person and virtual training sessions that are tailored to particular functional groups that relate directly to their day-to-day activities.
- Assess the effectiveness of training and adoption of the system/process.
- Responsible for front-line support of field users where the user needs training and coaching on existing functionality.
Expected Areas of Competence
- Must have experience in developing and implementing training and adoption of Salesforce.com in a rapid deployment timeline through face-to-face and remote/video conference methods.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills with the ability to lead a cross-functional team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally with users ranging from executive to line level.
- Strong analytical and reporting skill set and customer focus.
- Strong communication skills in facilitation, listening, writing, and questioning.
- Experience incorporating adult learning principles, learning styles, and training-delivery platforms.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field.
- Certified in Salesforce CRM system.
- 3 years of Salesforce experience preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing and implementing instructor-led and e-learning programs for technology systems implementations.
- MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in healthcare preferred.
