About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing leads, engaging with clients, and driving sales for Marunda’s diverse product lines. This includes high-performance industrial and marine products such as anti-corrosion coatings, chemical solutions, and other products we distribute.

This is a commission-based role with basic salary with a negotiable structure, ideal for someone motivated by performance and autonomy. Success here depends not just on selling, but on learning—our industry is technical and demanding, and our clients expect credible, well-informed partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in industrial, marine, or defense sectors

  • Present and promote Marunda's products with technical accuracy and commercial clarity

  • Work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to align messaging, campaigns, and prospecting strategies

  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert them into sales

  • Report on sales progress and customer feedback

Role Description

The Senior Sales Executive / Sales Executive will be responsible to expand the company's sea freight and logistics business. This includes developing new business opportunities, establishing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.


1. Meet and achieve targeted KPI and Budget

2. Build relationships with new prospective and existing customer

3. Find cold leads 90% of the time to bring in new sales (Hunter)

4. Explore business opportunities with existing customers (10%) of the group

5. Understand customer needs to provide quality service upon successful sales closing

6. Participate in global and local tenders

7. Build relationships with all carriers and liners to establish good reputations and rate

8. Coordinate with all departments locally or internationally within the group to establish the group goal of door-to-door supply chain services.


Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics or a related field.

2. 2 -5 years’ experience with a track record in sales and business development in the logistics & freight forwarding industry

3. Strong knowledge in the logistics & sea freight industry

4. Able to secure customers from these industries: food, E-commence, project cargo, automative, chemical, oil & gas and furniture

5. Willing to attend events to network with people in the industry

6. Willing to travel to visit customers as and when necessary

7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
