Based in Singapore, the National Sales Manager for Singapore and Malaysia will be primarily responsible for leading sales teams to maximize performance and profitability. Key accountabilities include:

Required skills and competencies

  • Prior commercial experience in the FMCG or Consumer Healthcare segment with a proven track record in delivering growth.
  • At least 5 years’ experience dealing with buyers of major Key Account Chains in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore and Malaysia retail market and exposure to HCP endorsement on consumer health products
  • Proven ability to lead teams through motivating and empowering individuals
  • Strong coaching and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial acumen with strong analytical skills
  • Advanced sales and account management skills
  • Well-developed negotiation, influencing and networking skills – including the ability to identify and access stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Financial management experience and attention to detail
  • Ability to work and analyse retail research data – experience in working with ACNielsen or Euromonitor is desirable

The role

**Job Description**
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base in area sales assigned, driving the company's sales growth.
- Provide customer support through addressing both technical and commercial needs/requirements.
- Promote and present new repair capabilities and products to customers.
- Lead reporting activities and work towards achieving performance targets for assigned region.
- Collaborate with the Customer Support Representative team to deliver results and enhance collective performance.
- Negotiate new contracts and manage financial and strategic objectives with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
- Travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development efforts across the region.
- Assist in ad-hoc assignments where necessary.
**Job Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the aerospace industry.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer service and a flair for negotiation.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a focus on enhancing business processes and procedures.
- Mature, highly driven individual who is passionate about the job and possesses good leadership skills

The Regional Sales Manager is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you're responsible for leading and driving sales engagements. You'll be responsible for meeting and exceeding your quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform. **Your Impact**
+ As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with our internal partners and teams to best serve the customer
+ Bring your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors with Singapore commercial and whitespace accounts.
+ Your focus will be to create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments while partnering with both Tier 2 partners and distributors.
+ Planning of Territory business plans and execution with strong understanding of the strategic competitive landscape - leveraging partner programs and incentives.
+ Engage a programmatic approach to demand to generate, develop, and expand your territory
+ Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for that specific account.
+ Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
**Your Experience**
+ 5+ years of solution selling experience
+ Possess a successful track record selling complex-solutions
+ Experience and knowledge with cloud security product in the Manufacturing, Semiconductor or Financial industry is preferred but not required.
+ Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with our channel partners to bring channel-centric go-to-market approach for our customers
+ Have and able to lead all aspects of the sales cycle with the ability to uncover, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white-space territories and accounts
+ Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
+ Highly competitive, ramp quickly, extremely adaptive, and pride yourself on exceeding production goals
+ Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally

We are looking for a talented Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Tuas South, Singapore, as part of Singapore' sales team. This role will be Hybrid, and travelling is mostly within APAC and manage some Singapore accounts.
Responsible for managing the relationship and business strategies for less complex accounts (regional, single business unit, internal, etc.). May have responsibility for larger, more complex accounts when paired with a more senior Account Manager. Responsibilities include selling the organization's products to assigned business customers to achieve sales goals, expanding existing customer relationships and executing account sales plans in support of business strategy
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develops, manages, and maintains business relationships with assigned accounts supporting the organization's sales strategy.
+ Supports revenue growth by identifying and contacting new business opportunities and participating in cost reduction initiatives.
+ Extends and expands sale of products and services to existing clients. Leads, manages and coordinates communication and interfaces with the customer at appropriate levels.
+ Negotiates and implements contracts with accounts as authorized. Manages production and distribution issues associated with accounts.
+ Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive customer relations. Acts as champion for the voice of the customer within the business.
+ Supports account strategy and works with key stakeholders in the business to achieve optimum results. Responsible for measuring customer satisfaction and creating action plans to improve satisfaction on data.
+ Manages accounts receivable deliverables including discussing and negotiating payment terms.
+ Drives Customer Focus Six Sigma initiatives to strengthen relationship with customer. Drives cross business unit account development in support of account strategy.
+ Maintains Sales forecasts and tracks progress and accuracy against forecast.
+ As applicable, works with internal stakeholders and customers to balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations

+ Sales Forecasting - Collects and assesses customer data from internal and external sources; compares against historical data to determine useful inputs and create a forecast of future consumption patterns.
+ Sales Pipeline Management - Plans proactively for successful execution of account/territory-level sales strategies and plans based on current pipeline; evaluates pipeline health (size, contents, progress); adjusts sales strategy, plans, or high impact activities accordingly; as applicable coaches sellers in order to achieve sales objectives.
+ Sense Making - Through a series of diagnostic and probing questions and research, develops and/or supports an intimate understanding of the customer needs, behaviors, and/or their buying journey. Synthesizes complex information from internal and external resources to deliver tailored solutions for the internal or external customer.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Preferred Qualifications:
+ College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.
+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
+ Significant level of relevant work experience, including previous customer and/or product experience required.
+ Purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.
+ Taking lead for AvK business in APAC
+ Interface with Technical staff to understand and to interpret product requirements
+ Address and communicate technical issues internally & externally
+ Technical & Product presentation and training
+ Support Finance with periodical planning, forecasting and reporting requirements
