The role of a Sales Development Representative at Canonical

What your day will look like
Handle inbound customer inquiries across email, phone and chat
Execute outbound sales & marketing campaigns
Travel to events and conferences worldwide, presenting on booths and driving face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities
Collaborate across multiple teams and senior stakeholders to drive results
Work directly with marketing on campaigns
Research information about prospective customers
Generate a multi-million pound pipeline
Identify prospects and market trends
Help define the processes and policies for the team
Liaise with new and existing customers, setting up and attending meetings whilst actively mapping accounts to identify new opportunities

Program Overview
Our Graduate Program provides an immersive experience in our company from day 1.
The program starts with a one-week Global Induction in Milan with trainings and activities led by the Prysmian Academy in collaboration with a Top-Ranking Business School.
Following your induction, you will be part of a one-year job rotation in 2 different departments: Research & Development and Operations in one of our production sites.
After the first year of rotation, you will take a role in the Country you have been hired in for 12 months aligned to business needs and your interests. The position will be technical, mainly based in one of our production sites, strongly linked to the core of our business.
Then, after completing your second year, you will start your international assignment for a duration of 3 years in one of our 50+ countries.
You will learn new ways of working, acquire technical knowledge, meet colleagues all over the world in a multi-cultural environment!
At the end of your assignment abroad, returning to the country you have been hired in , you will be ready to take on a new responsibility in the technical area continuing your career in Prysmian.

RINA is currently recruiting for a Trainee Junior Surveyor - Graduate Program to join its office in Singapore within the South Asia Pacific Marine Division.
About the ProgramThe Graduate Programme is a 3-year structured development path designed to develop the next generation of Marine Surveyors/Plan Approval Engineers based in Singapore . These training programmes will provide theoretical training and hands-on experience in ship classification and statutory surveys, testing of materials and components, plan approval processes across various operational contexts, as well as exposure to commercial activities.
Throughout the program, the candidate will work under the guidance of experienced RINA surveyors and plan approval engineers to gain real-world experience in survey planning, execution, reporting, and plan approval activities. This program is designed to equip the candidate with the technical foundation and professional confidence needed for a long-term career in the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop knowledge of classification rules, maritime international conventions, and various national/international maritime regulations.
- Develop skills in surveying and plan approval activities.
- Conduct surveys and inspections of vessels for classification and statutory compliance.
- Review technical documentation related to hull structure, machinery, safety systems, and equipment.
- Draft preliminary survey reports and maintain accurate records under guidance.
- Collaborate with technical teams in multiple offices and participate in client interactions.
- Attend internal training, seminars, and development sessions as part of the structured program.
- Gain exposure to commercial and administrative activities.
- Receive training in the use of various RINA applications and software.
- Fresh graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Keen interest in ship safety, compliance, and classification.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
- Willingness to travel and relocate for rotational assignments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a proactive and hands-on attitude.
- Preference given to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
