We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors on site.

• Establish and implement safety management systems on-site to ensure compliance with SS 506 (Singapore) or equivalent local OSH standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, committee meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and MOM officers to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to regulations.
• Prepare and submit safety reports, including monthly WSH performance and near-miss analyses.

• Strong knowledge of construction safety hazards, including scaffolding, lifting, and electrical safety.
• Familiarity with live plant safety protocols, such as PTW, gas testing, and hot work permits.
• Proficient in WSH software, such as inTRAVEL and SAP EHS .

• Diploma/Degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field
• Valid WSHO certification registered with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or equivalent regulatory body
• At least 8 years of WSH experience in process plant construction. Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, particularly in the mechanical equipment, process and petrochemical sectors.
• Proficient in hazard identification, risk management, and control measures. Familiar with confined spaces, lifting operations and calculation, and work-at-height requirements. Recognized relevant professional qualifications in fire safety and environmental management would be a distinct advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and engage teams in fostering a positive safety culture.
• Able to work independently under extreme weather and site condition.
• Well knowledgeable in Microsoft.

• Plan and advise management on accident prevention, safe work methods, legal requirements affecting safety and health.
• Deploy Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programmes.
• Ensure all safety compliance and processes are followed by all workers.
• Assist in managing and monitoring site operations, workers, and subcontractors.
• Communicate effectively with all levels and attend daily site meetings.
• Coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct safety committee meetings and safety audits for management reporting.
• Ensure periodic toolbox meetings are conducted.
• Establish quality safety management policies and procedures.
• Ensure Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is applied at all times on site.
• Be responsible for effective site administration, including site safety and control of materials on site.
