Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and review the company's Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management systems in accordance with MOM, BCA, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, bizSAFE, and industry standards, including preparation of documentation for regulatory audits and inspections.
• Lead internal audits, inspections, and investigations, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
• Provide strategic advice to management on compliance matters, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.

Quality Management

• Establish, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.
• Ensure that project quality objectives are met by aligning processes with contractual, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Lead quality audits, site inspections, and document reviews to ensure adherence to QMS procedures.
• Work closely with project teams to drive quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions for non-conformities.
• Monitor suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met across the value chain.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, mentoring, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management and recommend improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental/Quality Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Registered WSH Officer with MOM (mandatory).
• Minimum 4 years & above of relevant experience in Safety, Compliance, and Quality Management within the construction industry (main contractor experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of WSH Act, BCA regulations, ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and bizSAFE framework.
• Proven track record in managing audits, certifications, and regulatory reporting.

• Fleet Operations: Assist in overseeing the company's tug and barge fleet to ensure efficient, safe, and competitive operations by coordinating with all relevant parties

The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor for Mechanical will support Site Management Team in monitoring quality and compliance throughout the construction of a Power Plant project located in Jurong Island. Reporting to the QA Manager and working closely with the Mechanical Manager, the QC Supervisor for Mechanical is responsible for overseeing the mechanical execution works performed by the EPC contractors, ensuring strict adherence to contractual quality requirements, engineering specifications, applicable codes, and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and tests to verify that mechanical installations and repairs adhere to design technical specifications, codes, and quality standards
• Ensure all mechanical work complies with relevant industry codes, project specifications, company policies, and contractual obligations
• Oversee critical mechanical activities including material inspection, installation, welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), pressure testing, and final alignment and pre-commissioning checks
