Responsibilities And Tasks
Ensure Micron's safety programs and procedures are effective, efficient, and conform to the Management System and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement functional, cost-effective solutions for safety issues
Coordinate, manage, and conduct safety walks, inspections, and audits to ensure operations comply with Micron safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents and recommend preventive/corrective action
Collect, analyze, and communicate safety-related metrics and performance measurements
Support ISO System by participating in internal audits to continuously improve our safety program and procedures
Identify, develop, and provide safety training in accordance with company goals and objectives
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field e.g. Engineering
Safety and Health Certifications are preferred (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, ISO auditor training and certification)
Experience with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
Ability to read and develop understanding and interpretation of safety regulations
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration

Certification in safety is required or highly preferred, including:
