How to Succeed
Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Critical Care) preferred.
Proven work experiences as an ICU Nurse.
Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance.
Able to provide high level of patient care and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment with the rest of the team members.
Comfortable with performing 3-rotating shifts.

Overview

You will perform essential administrative, coordination, and secretariat functions for the Councils. You will also provide comprehensive support for the Councils’ strategic activities, including report writing, coordinating work plans, data analysis, drafting and reviewing of Policies & Procedures (P&P) and organising educational events or outreach activities.
You will perform liaison functions to ensure efficient management of the Councils as well as to provide smooth information flow between relevant departments within the division. You will also assist the supervisor in the financial budgeting for the department as well as administrative support for meetings and education activities, and support Group Medical in major SingHealth activities/events.

Schedule
Night shift (priority): ~12:30 am–6:00 am (6 hrs)

Build a small pool (2–6 nurses) for roster stability; extra shifts available
Role & responsibilities
Pb> Airway & ventilator care: Tracheostomy suction, stoma care, ties/dressing changes; humidification/HME filters; interface checks; alarm troubleshooting; emergency decannulation protocol (spare trach same size & −1 size).
Pb> Ventilator & cough‐assist: Routine use per protocol; secretion management; elevate when parameters/secretions change.
Pb> Feeding & meds: PEG feeds/flushes; strict aspiration precautions; safe medication administration per family protocol.
Pb> Monitoring & documentation: Vitals, pulse oximetry, secretion color/volume, skin integrity/pressure injury prevention; concise notes after each shift.
Pb> Infection control & safety: Hand hygiene, sterile/clean technique as indicated; equipment upkeep (suction machine, canisters, filters).
Pb> Family handover: Clear shift‐end report; flag concerns early (resp status, tube position, fever, bleeding).
Required qualifications
Pb> Registered Nurse (SNB) + valid Practising Certificate (mandatory).
Pb> BCLS+AED current; b> ACLS/ILS preferred.
Pb>≥2 years ICU/HDU/ED experience, including b> tracheostomy and preferably b> home or step‐down ventilator care.
Pb> Confident with b> PEG care, secretion management, and emergency escalation.
Nice‐to‐have
Pb> Familiarity with b> Philips/ResMed/Vivo/Trilogy home ventilators; b> CoughAssist E70 (or similar).
Pb> Experience in community/home nursing; ability to teach caregivers basic tasks safely.
