Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting communication systems, sub-systems and workshop level repair in accordance with maintenance instructions/procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine and ad-hoc maintenance on communication systems, sub-systems, and related components, including workshop-level repairs, following established maintenance instructions and procedures.
- Maintaining calibration, functionality, and availability of tools, test equipment, and test jigs required for maintenance and repair operations.
- Providing on-site and remote technical support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Conducting training sessions and knowledge transfers to internal teams or customers when necessary.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding maintenance issues, service quotations, invoicing, shipment tracking, and documentation handling.
- Supporting additional engineering and administrative functions as required, contributing to team success and operational efficiency.
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and/or electronics engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in electronic systems maintenance. Strong knowledge and skill for repair of electronics cards & modules, along with good customer service, problem-solving, communication & listening skills are essential.
- Diploma in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or equivalent, degree with 1 to 2 yrs of relevant exp
- At least 3 years of related working experience in Electronic Systems Maintenance.
- Possess strong Knowledge and Skill for Repair of Electronics Cards & Modules.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills
- Experience in Network, Routers, Servers, Computers, etc., is advantages.
- Good customer service, problem-solving, communication & listening skills.
- Possession of a valid Class 3/3A driving license is A MUST
