Patient Engagement and Revenue Cycle Specialist

This is a 3-month contract role where you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth patient journey by performing tasks such as patient engagement activities and managing admission/discharge paperwork.

  • Admission process management
  • Financial counselling to patients and their next of kin on medisave/medishield/private shield/corporate guarantees
  • Document scanning and archiving
  • In-flight accounts follow up and re-financial counselling
  • Escalation of patients with financial difficulties to reporting officers
  • Billing during discharge
  • Data entry of all fees and information into the system

Requirements:

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec qualification
  • Excellent customer service skills

• Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at market sales strategy meetings.


• Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to properties.


• Perform all Revenue Management month end reporting and auditing and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations.


• Accurately generate, process and update all property and market Revenue Management reports and serve as primary source for majority of reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team.


• Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks.


• Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools.


• Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems.

Job Summary

This position supports the marketing function by developing and compiling standard and ad-hoc marketing reports. He/She integrates marketing data and information from multiple sources to produce reports and support the marketing of UPS products and services including sales support, product management, and resource management. This position runs queries on data from multiple sources, both proprietary and external, for summarization in standard reports. He/She performs data cleansing and transformation to facilitate analysis and reporting. This position reviews multiple data sources to validate accuracy of data included in reports. This position works cross-functionally to analyze and interpret information in response to ad-hoc requests. He/She efficiently and effectively summarizes information, trends, and analyses using graphs, charts, and text to inform management.

Responsibilities:

  • Summarizes and communicates results and implications to initiators of requests.

  • Compiles and updates information in standard reports for timely distribution to stakeholders.

  • Gathers data required to respond to ad-hoc requests.

  • Builds databases to manage data for new reports.

  • Documents queries used to build reports to ensure reliability.

  • Interacts with data providers regarding source data to ensure quality and efficiency of processing.

  • Presents report findings internally to keep workgroups informed and up-to-date.

  • Sales Support: Supports sales with questions regarding processes, contracts, tools, and resources

  • Product Management: Works with cross-functional teams to support, manage, and improve product portfolio and processes.

  • Applies Information Analysis & Solution Generation Knowledge: Utilizes computer-based analytical and information management tools in order to perform routine analysis; documents approach and findings; reviews results with others as appropriate

  • Applies Problem Definition & Structuring Knowledge: Identifies key factors behind basic problems and establish a path to solve them; proposes approaches to solve more complicated problems; investigates and diagnoses anomalies in routine business results

  • Conducts Customer Business Process Analysis: Familiar with the primary customer business processes in which UPS solutions are most frequently applied (e.g., order management, shipping, receiving, returns, accounts receivable and accounts payable); within area of responsibility, able to describe customer benefits through the application of UPS solutions

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related fields

  • Demonstrate experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Analytics

  • Possess 3-4 years of industry-related or role-related experience is an advantage

  • Display good communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders across all levels

Job Description

Revenue Management & Strategy

  • Assess and segment demand based on market conditions
  • Maximise revenue on assigned routes by optimising inventory control measures and overbooking management
  • Work with Pricing Team to identify opportunities for tactical pricing actions for incremental traffic
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through demand forecast/ inventory adjustments without significant adverse impact on demand and market share
  • Benchmark and monitor pricing strategy vs competition
  • Drive revenue management best practices and enhancements to the revenue management system
  • Work closely with pricing team, overseas managers and market contacts to identify revenue opportunities and take early revenue management actions
  • Post departure analysis to ensure strategies align with expected outcomes through constant evaluation of no-shows, go-shows, cancellations, and demand shifts.

Revenue Budgeting/ Forecasting

  • Development of annual revenue budget/ targets by month for assigned routes
  • Monthly forecast review and adjustments

Systems Settings/ Maintenance

  • Ensure timely and accurate set up of system influences and strategies
