Participate regularly in operational meetings, providing valuable insights appreciated by the store team.
Work closely with finance partners in supply and logistics to share insights and drive value-chain synergies.
Management Accounting: Ensure reliable financial forecasts and optimize management processes.
Assist store teams in ensuring the accuracy of forecasts (Sales, Margins, Hours, Stock, Expenses, Investment planning).
Monitor KPIs with store leaders to track retail performance and drive improvements.
Review the rolling 12-month plan regularly to support budgeting and performance evaluation.
Alert management on stock and flow indicators, such as stock levels and rotations.
Financial Accounting: Ensure accurate financial information.
Ensure Profit and Loss accounts accurately reflect income and expenses monthly, complying with company and local standards.
Identify business activity risks and reflect them appropriately in financial records.
Verify the completeness, existence, and accuracy of assets (Inventory, Fixed assets) with operations managers.
Handle invoice booking, fixed asset management, and journal entries as part of accounting tasks.

Know the key indicators of the retail scope of operations and create action plans, together with the store leaders / operations leader, to improve them

Management Accounting: Ensure financial forecasts are reliable and optimize management processes within your scope of responsibility.
Help the store team to ensure the reliability of forecasts (Sales, Margins, Hours, Stock, Expenses, Investment planning)
Together with Store leaders, monitor KPIs to keep track of the retail activity and drive performance
Regularly go over the 12-months rolling piloting planned in order to facilitate the budgeting process and evaluate current performance
Alert if needed on stock and flow indicators (Stock levels, rotations of stock, etc.)
Financial Accounting: Ensure reliable financial information
Ensure that the Profit and Loss accounts accurately reflect monthly income and expenses, and comply with company's standards (EA) and local standards (AA);
Gather and identify business activity risks and reflect them in the financial books;
Ensure the completeness, existence and accuracy of assets (Inventory, Fixed assets) with the help of operations managers
Booking of invoices, fixed asset management, journals as part of the tasks of an accountant
