Senior Store Design Manager

DESIGN AND CREATION
- Serve as the brand advocate in managing the store concepts roll-out plan in SEA. Adapt to formats, from standard to flagship stores
- Capture the market's specificities to provide a local adaptation while adhering to global guidelines
- Participate in any prospective / global reflection or project in relationship with the store design evolution and/or best practices adaptation
- Update design guidelines when needed and ensure clear communication and efficient execution
- Manage and optimize the Design process: from brief to completion while providing all the required documents such as Layout, 3Ds, Schematic Design
- Initiate, follow up and check all the deliverables, control and optimize any design solution
- Ensure alignment with LVMH's recommendations on sustainability and energy saving
SYNERGY

- 10+ years of experience in Retail Design / Retail agencies or Corporate in house / Beauty brand would be preferred

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Regional Retail Design Intern/ trainee will report to Asst. Retail Design Manager mentorship.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
CREATIVE
- To elaborate/develop design proposals & renderings, technical drawings in line with HQ Guidelines and the brief defined by Merchandising, Commercial and Marketing teams.
- Study, adapt and implement guidelines to different markets' needs.
- Managing the project(s) as Project Leaders to ensure qualitative deliverables are being carried over from start to finish with supervision of respective reporting line manager.
- Manage the development of CAD Library for Store Concepts , following the updates given by Global.
OPERATIONAL

- To supervise and review project execution from technical drawings development to installation: including sourcing, sample validation, prototyping, and quality control.

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited program in Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Merchandising , Business Marketing and/or related field.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Ensure that all stores/units are fully operational by the established opening date.
- Ensure that the stores are executed retail design standards adhering to the set design criteria relative to the design guideline.
- Put focus on the management of the merchant relationship and ensuring internal construction and design teams are fully aware of the lease forms and conditions and requirements by the tenant.
- Ensure business drive solutions, on-site store delivery, and minimization of downtime in the income stream because of programmed openings.
- Enhance process and ensure that it is achieved through both customer focus and the ongoing relationship with retailers, their contractors, builders and or shop fitters. To this, the TDM must be multidiscipline in Retail knowledge, project management and construction management.
- Liaise with leasing department relating to the delivery process. This includes timely coordination with leasing in order seek clarification regarding agreed terms and conditions with merchants and track activities to ensure that tenancy is handed over to lessee by the established and agreed deadline.
- Coordinate with the lessee to obtain permits and approval of works associated with the tenancy and mall operational.
- Support property feasibility studies and involve actively in the upkeep of property design enhancement works.
- Keep abreast of current market and consumer behaviour, trends and design to share with teammates and tenants to keep designs updated.
- Be an excellent team-player to successfully open the mall with high numbers of store opening.
Required Background
- Degree or Diploma in architectural, interior design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural and retail designing.
- Essential experience in the retail shopping centre environment.
- Strong administrative skill in communication and organizational skills, as well as project management skills.
- Good time management with high degree of flexibility and good problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge and experienced in various statutory requirements in planning and design of the built environment.
- Software Proficiency in auto-cad, photoshop and 3-D sketch-up, and most Microsoft Office software.
