  • Drive Insightful Planning: Work with stakeholders to forecast manpower and budget needs across various service touchpoints. You’ll dig into policy changes, customer journeys, and service channel capacity to ensure our planning is precise and effective.

  • Support the allocation of resources in through long-term planning. Direct and support Resource Allocators to effectively resource shifts on a 24/7 basis through three distinct phases:
  • Pre-planning – considering the expected demands, schedules, and roster resources pre-plan the allocation of tasks 24-72 hours in advance of the shift
  • Shift-planning – during the shift prior and/or at the start of the appropriate shift, considering the actual availability of resources (Manpower, Equipment, and Facilities), re-check the pre-plan and undertake the detailed allocation of all resources ensuring that allocation is undertaken according to load
  • Real-time – considering the availability of resources and the dynamic operational environment, undertake all aspects of the real-time allocation of resources in-line with the actual loads
  • Improve operational efficiency and productivity by utilizing specialist knowledge of the decision support systems including but not limited to Resource Management System (RMS), Real-Time Control (RTC), Multi-Access Check-in System (MACS) and other dnata or third-part Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Actively work with the Duty Managers and Resource Allocators by providing expert advice, input and direction in order to respond to dynamic changes during rostering including but not limited to annual leave planning, long term workplace injuries or sickness.
  • Effectively communicate the rostering plan to the appropriate staff, seeking input and review to ensure that front-line staff inputs are reviewed and accounted for in the continual improvement of rostering coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree or Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a planning / resource management role
  • Previous experience with an airline, airport, or ground handling company a distinct advantage
  • Must have excellent analytical skills and planning skills for Rostering, Over Time Planning and Leave administration
  • Previous experience of and proficiency in using existing decision support systems in use for Resources Allocation is desirable

What The Role Is

As a Systems Analyst you are part of HDB’s IT Group to drive digital transformation. You will be part of an application development team that will leverage on innovation and technology to enable business excellence. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders in HDB to manage, design and develop systems that support HDB’s wide spectrum of business domains.

You will be part of an application development team that will leverage on innovation and technology to enable business excellence. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders in HDB to manage, design and develop systems that support HDB’s wide spectrum of business domains.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Understand HDB’s business processes and work with users to design and develop an end-to-end solution
  • Provide advice and assistance to business users in the effective use of application system and information technology
  • Manage the development of the application system and ensure the project is implemented within budget and according to schedule
  • Design solutions that are of quality and functional to ensure a good user experience
  • Monitors the performance of the application and work with relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot any issues surfaced in the production environment
  • Work closely with various technical, solution and information architects to ensure the application developed is robust and align with the Enterprise Architecture
  • Produce technical documentation for application systems.
  • Have a keen interest in IT / programming / system designs
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle


What We Are Looking For

Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst with hands-on experience with SAP (i.e. SAP/4HANA, ECC) or other ERP systems

Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g. Financial Accounting, Material Management, Human Resource) to improve business processes

Experience in SAP project management or similar role

Experience in SAP system configuration, implementation and support

Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologies

Good To Have

Great Attitude to bring the best out our team, driven and motivated

Team Player; we work together as a team

Autonomous & Take ownership

SAP certification(s) in relevant modiles is a plus

  • Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply


Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract in the first instance. Conversion to perm is dependent on good performance.
