My client is seeking a Business Development Manager – Partnerships (Hotels & Resorts) to lead the acquisition and growth of accommodation partners across Asia-Pacific. In this role, you will focus on identifying and securing strategic hotel and resort partnerships, articulating my client's disruptive value proposition, and driving inventory growth on the platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and entrepreneurial professional to join a high-growth, tech-driven company that is redefining how accommodation is booked and managed globally.
Key Responsibilities1. Partner Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify, engage, and secure hotel and resort partners across key APAC markets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (owners, GMs, revenue managers) within hotel groups and independent properties.
Present Staynex’s value proposition, emphasizing cost-savings, increased control, and transparency enabled by blockchain technology.
2. Contracting & Onboarding
Lead end-to-end partner negotiations and contracting processes.
Coordinate onboarding, property integration, and training with internal technical and operations teams.
Ensure a seamless transition of inventory onto the Staynex platform.
3. Strategic Growth & Market Insights
Support regional growth strategies by identifying high-value accommodation partners and market opportunities.
Provide regular feedback to product and leadership teams based on partner needs, market trends, and competitive activity.
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
Use CRM tools and internal dashboards to track sales pipeline, onboarding progress, and partner performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance partner success and retention post-onboarding.
3–6 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within the travel, OTA, hospitality, or hotel tech industries.
Proven track record in developing and managing partnerships with hotels or resorts in APAC.
Strong understanding of OTA models, hotel distribution systems, and channel management.
Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate complex value propositions clearly.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of self-motivation and accountability.
Comfort with remote collaboration tools and working in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Exposure to Web3 or blockchain would be helpful in helping candidate articulate Staynex’s position in the market
