The role of Research Support Specialist will provide critical support to a research project focused on women's health. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of the project.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with stakeholders for participant recruitment and data collection.
- Support IRB application administration and maintain Investigator Site Files.
- Conduct study recruitment, answer general enquiries on study eligibility, and conduct informed consent in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) guidelines, and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA).
- Schedule study screening and follow-up visits.
- Perform study measurements, data, and biological sample collection according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain regular communication with other team members in different study sites.
- Manage research study databases, including data queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree, preferably with knowledge/experience in public health, medicine, and/or biology.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Takes initiative and possesses strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strict integrity standards in handling confidential matters.

Support data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings in collaboration with the research team.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings to internal stakeholders
Ensure all written outputs are aligned with academic standards and style guides.
Coordinate with team members and contribute to project timelines and deliverables.
Maintain organized documentation and version control for all research materials.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Data Science, Public Health, Education, Humanities or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in research management or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
Strong academic writing skills with demonstrated experience in research documentation and manuscript preparation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader teams.
Previous experience supporting academic research projects or publications.
