Duties:

• Animal handling experience: Experience in handling and working with rodents, including injections, dissections, and animal care.
• Data analysis skills: Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other researchers, clinicians, and scientists to achieve research goals.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research/Laboratory Officer, who will provide technical support and assistance on neuroscience research projects, and administrative/logistical support in lab maintenance. The successful candidate will receive training in cutting-edge neuroscience techniques and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Perform wet lab experiments using techniques such as tissue sectioning, tissue clearing, fluorescent in situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry and microscopy.
• Provide technical support for experiments using preclinical models, PCR and genotyping.
• Provide logistical support in lab inventory and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
