Senior Assistant Director, Office of Research

About the Role:

We are seeking a senior assistant director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our institutional animal care and use committee (IACUC) and collaboration functions.

This role involves supervising the IACUC secretariat function, as well as facilitating and formulating multi-institutional and strategic collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the IACUC secretariat function
• Facilitate and formulate multi-institutional and strategic collaborations
• Support and coordinate the alignment of group research strategy with national research agenda development
• Develop corresponding action plans

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A postgraduate degree or Master's in Science with at least 12 years of relevant working experience, including 4 years of managerial experience
• Prior working experience as a researcher or in a clinical/translational research environment would be advantageous
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• An excellent command of both spoken and written English
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software

• Define and drive the AI research and innovation roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of AI scientists, data scientists, and ML engineers.
• Plan and lead the development of new and advanced data analytic techniques, methodologies, and analytical solutions from design, prototyping, and testing.
• Identify and develop core data and AI science components for the delivery of projects, architect specialized database and computing environments, explore and visualize complex data sets to provide incremental business value.
• Partner with executives, product leaders, and business stakeholders to translate opportunities into AI-driven solutions.
• Extract and integrate data from various sources, and create advanced models and algorithms suitable for the business use case.
• Conduct testing on data and AI models, interprets findings from testing, and evaluates model performance for scaling and deployment.
• Work in a team setting and apply proficient in statistics, scripting, and programming languages required by the firm.
• Work with relevant software platforms on which the solution is deployed.
• Stay ahead of AI trends and represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and publications.

This is a high-level role that involves spearheading the Advanced Packaging research and development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in semiconductor packaging and assembly.

• Develop and execute the R&D strategy for Advanced Packaging solutions, aligning with business objectives and market trends.
• Oversee the end-to-end development of advanced packaging technologies (e.g., Fan-Out, 2.5D/3D integration, Heterogeneous Integration, Flip-Chip, and Wafer-Level Packaging).

• Developing optimized processes and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, or related fields.
• At least 9 years of experience in business process data analysis and IT project management.
• Proficient in SQL data analysis and strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study, and interpret complex data.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Analyse treaty terms and product features in collaboration with actuarial and accounting teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation.
• Lead the onboarding of new treaties into our systems, ensuring accurate mappings, data consistency, and validation of results.
