Support the Vice Dean and Assistant Deans in the Office of Research and Technology (ORT) to grow research within the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) and NUS:

• Lead in studying research trends and funding landscape, identifying potential funding opportunities for CDE under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) framework.
• Formulate and implement strategies to drive growth by securing funding aligned with CDE’s goals.
• Analyze historical CDE funding data to assess research capabilities, identifying strengths and gaps.
• Develop recommendations for future funding strategies and compile comprehensive reports to enhance research capabilities and growth.
• Spearhead collaborative efforts, leading the development, execution, and management of high-impact research strategies and large-scale programmes, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
• Monitor and assess the impact of strategies and programmes, refining them based on effectiveness and alignment with ORT goals, and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Draft ad-hoc research-related reports and presentations.
• Undertake additional initiatives as directed by the Vice Dean (Research and Technology), demonstrating ability to align initiatives with broader objectives.
