Support the Vice Dean and Assistant Deans in the Office of Research and Technology (ORT) to grow research within the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) and NUS:
- Lead in studying research trends and funding landscape, identifying potential funding opportunities for CDE under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) framework.
- Formulate and implement strategies to drive growth by securing funding aligned with CDE’s goals.
- Analyze historical CDE funding data to assess research capabilities, identifying strengths and gaps.
- Develop recommendations for future funding strategies and compile comprehensive reports to enhance research capabilities and growth.
- Spearhead collaborative efforts, leading the development, execution, and management of high-impact research strategies and large-scale programmes, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
- Monitor and assess the impact of strategies and programmes, refining them based on effectiveness and alignment with ORT goals, and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Draft ad-hoc research-related reports and presentations.

- Recognised honours degree in a STEM discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in research management.
- Self-starter with initiative to work in a fast-changing environment.
- Good communication skills, outgoing personality, and a team player.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Good understanding of the local research, innovation, and enterprise ecosystem.
