The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of all equipment, machines, and automation stations in the Optics department, with a focus on minimising downtime and supporting operational efficiency. .
This position reports to the Principal Maintenance Enginer and is part of the Manufacturing Maintenance team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Equipment & Machine Maintenance: Attend to and resolve all optics equipment and machine issues to minimise downtime. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to plan.
+ Record Keeping & Inventory: Update and maintain machine downtime records for OEE monitoring. Manage essential spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs with suppliers and makers.
+ Contractor & Vendor Supervision: Supervise external contractors/vendors, communicate effectively with suppliers, and prepare/send parts back to machine makers for repairs.
The essential requirements of the job include :
