Are you a skilled professional with experience in Installation, Troubleshoot & Repair the HVAC Units & mechanical components? Do you have on-site hands-on-working experience in Brazing, Soldering, pipe fitting & Fabrication?
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, assigning and supervising the installation, servicing and repairing ACMV systems. Additionally, they must have experience in leading, managing and coordinating work activities at site.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with at least 2 - 3 years of experience in Construction M&E projects. They must also have knowledge of ACMV & Electrical, as well as a minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Beyond technical skills, we are looking for individuals with strong leadership and organizational skills. Knowledgeable in construction, with field experience is a must. The ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills are also essential.

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC system maintenance specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for complex air conditioning, ventilation, and heating (ACMV) systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Planned Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement PPM schedules for ACMV systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Emergency Response/Corrective Maintenance: Develop and maintain contingency plans for system breakdowns or emergencies, provide 24/7 technical support during critical issues, diagnose and resolve faults or malfunctions in HVAC systems, and perform repairs on compressors, condensers, motors, pumps, and electrical components.
- Spare Parts & Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and tools, coordinate with procurement for replenishing parts based on maintenance needs, and track equipment warranties and service contracts.
- Coordination: Engage with building managers and tenants to address ACMV requirements, participate in site audits and inspections, ensuring quality and timeliness of maintenance work, and supervise on-site technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintenance standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to workplace safety and environmental standards, conduct regular risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year experience in ACMV system maintenance (e.g., chillers, AHUs, BMS).
- Knowledge of energy management and HVAC controls.
- Certification in workplace safety will be preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting tools and preventive maintenance software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Good communication and coordination skills for client and vendor management.

· Co-ordinate the work activities of the team to ensure completion of tasks within given timeline
· Completion of various daily job and closure reports
· Prepare survey/inspection reports
· Estimate labour and materials for a given RHVAC

· Coach junior team members to enhance their skills level

Requirements
· Candidate must possess certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning studies or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· At least 2 years’ working experience in marine RHVAC systems
· Has in-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycle theory, line components, circuit flushing, refrigerant recovery, pressure testing and vacuuming
· Has in-depth knowledge of electrical circuit diagram and HVAC Controls (Electrical and PLC)
· Good written and verbal communication and coaching skills
· Good analytical skills
· Able to work long hours under hot and humid conditions due to exigency of work on board vessels and in shipyards
· Team player with positive attitude and willing to learn and teach
· Able to work independently
· Proficient in RHVAC troubleshooting
· Good knowledge in compressor overhauling
