POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Southeast Asia recruiting team, you will play a critical role in leading Consultant-level hiring efforts across the Southeast Asia region.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking and operational execution, with experience in talent sourcing, candidate engagement, and team management. This individual will also manage two direct reports and work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to attract and hire top-tier talent.
This role will report to the Senior Manager and will be based in Singapore.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Partner with Recruiting, Senior Manager to shape and execute the recruiting strategy for Consultant hiring across business school and experienced professional segments
- Define target talent segments and identify opportunities to broaden the candidate funnel
- Proactively identify and engage high-potential, passive candidates to address both immediate hiring needs and long-term pipeline development
- Plan and lead end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation, working closely with office leadership and interviewers to align on decisions
- Oversee the offer and closing process in partnership with local office teams.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience at every stage of the recruiting lifecycle
- Manage and support the Consultant recruiting team, providing day-to-day guidance and coaching
- Collate new hire information to facilitate onboarding and integration
- Other responsibilities include:
- Utilize and update Bain’s internal candidate tracking system for data and event management
- Assist with recruiting data gathering efforts and other office presentations as needed
- Support for Associate Consultant or Senior Hiring and participate in recruiting initiatives and projects, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in management consulting or a similarly fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Demonstrated thought leadership in recruiting, including experience design or piloting new approaches to talent acquisition or engagement
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and geographies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexibility with hours to meet demands of the role
