Create recreational activity that are friendly for adults & children to engage with guests. Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform manager of low supply items. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join us as our Recreation Attendant for the Resort. The incumbent will greet our guests with passion, showcasing their strong knowledge of our recreational activities. You will be overseeing the recreational facilities, ensuring safety, and providing excelling service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests at our recreational facilities, including pools, gym, and other leisure areas.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC in Recreation Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in recreational management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Knowledge of fitness and recreational activities, including swimming and wellness practices.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.

• Manage the reception counter at the Sports Complex.
• Attend to members' enquiries regarding the sports facilities and sports events.
• Administration of Sports and Recreation activities on a daily basis.

Summary
This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Forces Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Commander, Navy Region Japan, Singapore Area Coordinator (SAC), Singapore. The primary function of the position is to ensure proper usage of the facility, assist in the operation of the recreation activity and provide proper collection and disposition of revenues generated at the assigned facility.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patrons, including greeting, checking IDs, issuing and receiving gear, and registering patrons for activities.
Answer inquiries via telephone about facility hours, events, and programs.
Complete Daily Activity Reports, handle cash, verify collections, and secure funds.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and publicizing activities to attract participants.
Oversee retail sales related to activities.
Evaluate fitness activities and monitor program effectiveness.
Supervise patrons, volunteers, and contractors during events and report issues.
Assist in selecting fitness, sports, and aquatics activities based on resources and participant interests.
