The R2R ( record to report / general ledger) Consultant is responsible for ensuring the precise and timely completion of month-end closing and financial reporting to the Management. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of accounting processes, inter-company activities, and compliance with statutory and internal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Timely, Accurate Month-End Closing and Financial Reporting: Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing, management and financial reporting.
Accounting Processes and Tasks: Handle various accounting processes and tasks including receipts and payments interface reconciliation, General Ledger (GL), and other key reconciliations.
Internal Coordination and Liaison: Coordinate and liaise with internal parties and the firm’s network to support intercompany activities.
External Coordination and Liaison: Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and local government authorities as required.
Compliance and Support: Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (GST), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
Assist in the redesign of current processes projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
