Job Description
- To provide a high standard of care to patients through care management, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to meet the needs of the patients.
- Ensure that stocks are available for procedures when needed.
- Explain the examination to patient, what he / she will be undergoing and the estimated duration of it, and obtain the necessary consent when required.
- Assist Radiologist in Interventional procedures.
- Ensure that precautions have been taken to protect patients, staff and public from unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation.
- Perform the documentation according to government legislation.
- Perform any other duties as instructed by the Manager / Radiologist.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Nursing.
- Candidate with Advanced Nursing Diploma will have an added advantage.
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
- Previous experience in Radiology department highly advantageous.
