The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating dental X-ray equipment to produce clear and accurate radiographic images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers regarding medical imaging systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with medical imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to customer problems.
• Create and maintain documentation, including troubleshooting guides and technical manuals.
• Provide training and guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of medical imaging systems.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of medical imaging equipment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent customer service.

• Min Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 1 year related working experience in Medical / Healthcare / Laboratory/medical imaging
• product is a plus
• Able to commit standby and travel if required.

Job Summary:

A medical imaging specialist is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and producing high-quality images for radiological reports.

• Conduct cardiac echocardiography using various diagnostic modalities.
• Perform 12-lead ECG, Holter monitoring, and other diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate patient records and diagnostic equipment.
• Obtain, analyze, and compare test results to prepare preliminary reports.
• Uphold best practices and recommend enhancements to clinical protocols.

• Minimum a Degree in Biomedical / Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Competent in MS Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out various cardiac investigations and procedures.

• Perform Paediatric Cardiac Echocardiography and Fetal Echocardiography
• Conduct 12 Lead- ECG, Holter and other monitoring modalities
• Administer report typing duties
• Maintain equipment and patient records
• Obtain, analyse, compare results, and prepare preliminary reports for routine and complex cases accurately
• Adopt best practices and suggest improvements to clinical protocols
• Make practical and effective decisions in complex situations with considerations of downstream impact on the team
• Recognize potential conflicts and mitigate situations internally before escalation
• Optimize resource usage at a team level
• Assist in the development and maintenance of learning objectives and teaching methods

• Minimum degree in Biomedical Sciences or Equivalent
• Minimum 6 months experience in Sonography / Echocardiography/ Cardiac Technology

4. Supervising student radiographers
5. Actively participating and contributing in quality improvement projects and quality assurance programs

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum degree in Radiography
• Valid AHPC certification
