We seek a highly skilled System Support Engineer to join our team. This key role is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the smooth operation of Thales' radar systems onboard military platforms.
- Support Installation, Checkout, Integration, and Testing (ICIT) activities of Thales' radar systems onboard military platforms.
- Collaborate with overseas Business Line units to perform installation, checkout, integration, and testing of radar systems onboard vessels.
- Participate in system interface and integration tests, setting up radar systems, aligning, calibrating, and performing checks to prepare for acceptance tests.
As a System Support Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing system expertise to support end-users and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
- Executing continuous improvement required on the Systems.
- Evaluating system performance, generating test reports, and managing and coordinating with stakeholders for other Integrated Logistics Support activities.
- Interfacing with other technical support personnel, engineering, and product management to escalate and resolve issues.
- Monitoring system performance and making continuous improvement.
- Determining and implementing specific technical needs to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Tracking and reporting project/service status.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A diploma/degree in Electrical & Electronic or Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years' engineering experience working in Communication/Surveillance/Sensors projects.
- Knowledge of Linux system, Wireshark tool, network, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in performing system maintenance and handling of SLA.
- Solid trouble-shooting skills and problem-solving experience.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Occasional need to work outside office hours.
- Familiarity with defence business and comfort working on different military platforms.
- Readiness to travel overseas occasionally for trainings and meetings.
- Ability to perform software testing and work overseas for up to 6 months.

- Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification.
