We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to assist in cost estimation and tender preparation. The ideal candidate will liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotations and contracts.
Responsibilities:- Assist in cost estimation and tender preparation
- Prepare and analyze cost comparisons in collaboration with the Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Liaise and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotations and contracts
- Prepare and manage tender documents, cost summaries, and price comparisons
- Accurately measure quantities for progress payment claims, variation orders, and final accounts
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final account settlements, and payments to sub-contractors and suppliers
- Evaluate and certify progress work done, including administration of contract variations
- Ensure timely and accurate QS-related documentation
- Perform other quantity surveying duties as assigned
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related discipline is required
- Two years' relevant experience with main contractors is necessary
- Prior experience with HDB BTO projects is essential
The successful candidate should possess excellent negotiation, communication, and team player skills. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and have knowledge of construction, quantity surveying, administration, estimates, procurement, civil engineering, tendering, pricing, sourcing, tender preparation, and cost control.
