- Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis for parts manufacturing
- Perform First Part Approval (FPA) for mechanical parts
- Review parts manufacturability and design before tooling fabrication
- Generate FPA reports, update status and results, and share with internal staff and suppliers
- Identify Critical Tolerancing Features (CTFs) dimensions for Incoming Inspection
- Prepare Incoming Inspection instructions for parts that require inspection
- Investigate production fallouts due to part quality, collect data, and study root cause and countermeasures
- Collaborate with suppliers on improvement of parts quality activities
- Perform periodic factory audits on vendor capabilities, facilities, and processes, and prepare audit reports
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Preferably have 1 year of working experience, but candidates with no working experience are welcome to apply
- Knowledge in stamping, Plastics Moulding & Machining processes
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with China suppliers
- Willingness to perform overtime when required
