As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems that are integral to the construction and operation of this large-scale waste management facility. You will work closely with the Project Manager and other engineers to ensure that all electrical work meets regulatory and safety standards while supporting the overall goals of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Design & Planning:

Develop and review electrical design drawings, schematics, and blueprints for the project.

Ensure that designs comply with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.

• Maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting of test equipment and chambers.
• Calibration of power supply and verification of multimeter.
• Ensure proper wiring and meet 6S/EHS requirements.
• Ensure tardiness of test equipment and working environment.
• Resolve all technical issues during acceptance checks.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve test issues and improve equipment consistency.
• Document and report test results promptly.
• Verify and release engineering work orders.

• Design, Engineering, Supervision of installation & testing commissioning
• Prepare, Review and Assist subcontractor design and submission, ensuring all project specifications and design standards are met.
• Assist and Collaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules
• Develop cost estimates for electrical products and electrical works, inclusion of scheduling electrical works for project and tender.
• Resolve all site technical relating matter.
• Prepare electrical related datasheets and material requisitions.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Recognized by PEB)
• Professional Engineer (Electrical) registered with the PEB Singapore
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in water or wastewater projects.
• Experience in managing the detailed design of electrical distribution systems for facilities of similar complexity and scale as the project.
• Having some relevant ICA knowledge would be advantageous.
• Meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.

Job Description

• Possess technical/electrical skills and knowledge to repair construction equipment such as Scissor lift, boom lift, generators, air compressors, welding generators etc

• Able to read and understand Single Line Diagram of machine

• Must have knowhow on the modification of distribution panels/change over panels and to draw SLD of the modified panel

• General troubleshooting and repair of wiring issues for machines in yard and also at jobsite whenever required

• General servicing of the diesel/electrical construction equipment

• Testing/commissioning of equipment

• Able to perform load test of equipment using the load test machine
