Job Title:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge Contactless Smart Card technology, driving the evolution of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing and maintaining multiple public transport e-payment devices, including bus fare collection devices and rail fare collection gates
• Maintaining production fare system software, deployment, and support
• Continuously improving the AFC device software system through predictive analytics

Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or a relevant discipline
• Fresh graduates with relevant expertise and interest are welcomed
• Experience in software development involving web application development in Java, using Spring framework, and interfacing with database using JDBC and SQL preferred
• Object-oriented software design and UML modeling
• Good knowledge in Windows Server and proficient scripting skill in PowerShell is highly desirable
• Experience in Incident Management and ITIL process
• Conduct trend analysis and provide appropriate support and input to product teams
• Aggressively monitor and respond to incidents generated by stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Resourceful and self-motivated team player
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Data Analytics and Data Visualization skills will be an added advantage
• Certification and/or knowledge in AWS Cloud services, including EC2, is highly desirable
• Added advantage if candidate is familiar with one or more of the following technologies: JSON, Angular, JSP, JavaScript, HTML

• Lead service journey mapping and propose process improvements.
• Bridge the gap between business and technical teams.

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years in software development; senior roles available based on experience.
• Experience in project delivery, architecture exposure, or DevOps is a plus.

Skills & Attributes

• Proficient in .NET, Java, Python, React, Blazor or similar languages.
• Skilled in SQL, DataFrames, or equivalent tools.
• Familiar with GitLab CI/CD or similar DevOps tools.
• Understands Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Passionate about tech, learning, and solving real problems.
• Interest or experience in AI/ML integration is a bonus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
