Within the SPF, the Police Psychological Services Department (PPSD) plays an important role in supporting the organisational and operational needs of SPF.The Psychologist (OPP) will be part of the Organisational and Personnel Psychology Division in the Police Psychological Services Department (PPSD), Singapore Police Force (SPF). What you will be working on:

As a Psychologist (OPP) in the OPP Division in PPSD, your key roles and responsibilities include:• Conducts psychological assessment interviews for purposes of personnel selection• Develops and implements psychological tools and techniques for personnel selection and development• Conducts leadership training courses• Supports in the development and implementation of leadership assessment and development programmes e.g., leadership assessment centres, leadership multisource feedback• Conducts applied research in relation to selection and assessment, leadership assessment, development and training, as well as other industrial-organisational areas• Provides professional consultation to officers, units and organisation on psychology and behavioural sciences matters

  • Developing and executing our global communications strategy in order to enhance our brands, demonstrate thought leadership, and generate positive narratives around our company’s activities.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to establish clear and consistent messaging around their respective company initiatives, as well as to provide support for group-wide initiatives.
  • Working with diverse teams across the group on issues and incident management, ensuring timely and effective communications to protect our brands and reputation.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate communications, ideally with experience managing strategic communications strategies and media relationships in the technology sector.
  • Highly proficient in building and nurturing media relationships across the region with an existing network of media contacts, including business, financial and consumer technology beats.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting and executing communications plans, and managing crises.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail, including the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong creative thinking skills and inherent curiosity to push new angles and ideas.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and self-driven.

Job Description

The Corporate Communications Senior Officer is part of the Corporate Communications Division and is responsible for supporting the department to implement effective communications for Canon Singapore.

Responsibilities

Internal Communications

- Assist in developing ideas for materials and activities to facilitate staff communications

- Assist in writing and edit internal publications

- Create and develop graphics and short videos

- Propose and execute ideas to promote staff engagement and corporate culture

- Manage internal communication tools such as the intranet (Sharepoint) and internal social platform (Viva Engage)

- Maintain staff product loan scheme and corporate wallpaper schedule

Corporate Social Media

-Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand goals

-Create, curate, and manage content for all social channels

-Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages in a timely manner

-Track performance using analytics tools and prepare regular reports

-Stay updated on social media trends and best practices

-Work closely with Public Relation for impactful external brand storytelling

Administration

- Liaise with Finance and relevant BUs to make purchases, put up POs and process vendor invoices

- Provide department support such as the handling of mail, housekeeping of assets and data, keeping track of agreements and contracts etc.

- Maintain and update SOP documents for administrative tasks

- Handle and coordinate corporate orders from HQ and ad-hoc sponsorship and donation arrangements

- Coordinate meetings and take minutes where required

- Provide admin support for special projects and tasks

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Communications or related disciplines

- 4-5 years of working experience in a similar capacity

- Good in writing and editing to communicate with employees effectively

- Ability to create graphics and videos using programs such as MS Powerpoint, Canva and iMovie

- Familiar and savvy with managing and using tools for communications, especially Sharepoint

- Proven experience in social media management

- Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies accordingly

- Creative, enthusiastic, and willing to explore new ways to improve communications

- Team player, people-oriented
